Customs Duty : 10% on assessed value will be levied Import Tax : 10% of the CIF + VAT which varies depending on engine:

Gasoline engine: UP to 1500cc 10%, 1500 to 2500cc 20%, Over 2500cc 30%

General Information

From 1 November, 2010, customs will not allow vehicles older than three years from the date of manufacture to be imported to Angola. This is not applicable for diplomatic moves.
Shipments containing a bicycle, motorbike, second hand vehicles are subject to pre-inspection in the origin country.
Vehicles should be shipped in a container separate from household goods
Vehicles must have left handed steering and observe the legal requirements of safety, manufacture and circulation.
Customs will charge a fine of 100% of the CIF value, if the necessary procedures have not been followed.
New Regulation to money transference from Angola to South Korea (Started Jan, 2015).
When you confirm to purchase the vehicle, the seller send you proforma invoice.
Before you transfer the money through bank, you should give that proforma invoice to customs agent for license the invoice (licenciar a factura) at Ministry of Trade. After that the proforma invoice is approved to take to the bank for make the transference.
