General information: 

Those with diplomat status or employed with an NGO may import a vehicle duty free. Duty free importation takes at least 4 weeks thus incurring port storage fees of approximately 400.00USD.

Returning nationals and other foreigners importing a vehicle must pay duty which varies based on age, type and engine size. Clearance length on dutiable vehicles is 1-2 weeks. Inquire with your service agent prior to consigning the motor vehicle. All vehicles must be left-hand drive.

Import Documents Required:

Copy of Certificate of Title and Registration

Proof of ownership – Such as original purchase invoice, insurance certificate, etc.
