In Myanmar, the government have recently issued and announced the new CIF value that permits to import the cars starting from 2009 model. Although CIF value for cars with 1500CC engine power is slightly fall and so the demand of that car is increased.
In last CIF value table, the famous car in Myanmar, Toyota Corolla Fielder 2007 model had CIF value US$9000. But now its value fall to US$8500 for 2009 model in CIF value. As a consequences, these type will become more popular among yangon customers. Similarly, the sales of Corolla Axio and Mazda Axela cars which also with 1500CC are predited to increase in Yangon by car brokers and car marketers.
2000CC engine power cars can be popular within car dealers starting from the reopening time of Japan Auction Market in January but that cannot affect the sales of cars with 1300 CC engine.
Among the cars with 1300CC engine power, like Honda Fit, AD Van, and Toyota Belta will continue to be enjoyed and like by many people in yangon.
