Hyundai to open showroom and service centre in Yangon

The South Korean Hyundai Motor Company is planning to open showroom and service centre in Yangon in September of this year, according to Fortune International Ltd, one of Hyundai’s local partners.
Hyundai is the largest company in South Korea with enormous economic and political power in the country and it is also World’s fourth largest automobile manufacturer. The company was founded in 1967 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.The company also owns shares in KIA Motor Company. Some local companies are officially importing and selling Hyundai vehicles.
Fortune International Limited, Hyundai’s sale representative, is importing and selling Korean’s products to Myanmar while also operating other businesses in construction, engineering, telecoms, livestock and fisheries, trading and rental estate.
The Company’s Chairman is Dr. Mya Han who is also vice president of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
