Hyundai Motors

Kia Motors

Kia Motors America was established in 1992, with the Sephia officially launching in the U.S. in 1994. Nissan Motors
Nissan Motor Corporation, usually shortened to Nissan, is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Japan.
In 1999, with Nissan facing severe financial difficulties, Nissan entered an alliance with Renault. Its redesigned Sentra and Altima boosted sales and consumer interest, as did new models like the 350Z sports car, Armada SUV and Titan pickup.

Mazda Motor Corporation is a Japanese automaker founded in 1920 in Hiroshima, Japan. Mazda originally started out producing arms for Japan during WWII, but launched their first car, the R360 in 1960.

Daewoo Motors
Daewoo Motors was a South Korean automotive company established in 1982, part of the Daewoo Group. It sold most of its assets in 2001 to General Motors, after running into financial trouble, becoming a subsidiary of the American company and being renamed GM Daewoo.
In 2002, Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company was spun off from parent Daewoo Motor Co. Ltd. In 2004, it was acquired by Tata Motors, India's largest passenger automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturing company. In 2011, it was renamed again to its current name, GM Korea.

Ssangyong Motors 
Ssangyong Motor Company is the fourth largest South Korea-based automobile manufacturer. Ssangyong is a South Korean organisation founded in 1954. Fifteen years after earning growing international respect for its passenger jeeps, taxis, snow ploughs and dump trailers, the company was formally named Ssangyong Motor Co. Ltd in 1988.
By the early 1990's, the Ssangyong Korando sport jeep had already begun to lead the pack - winning first place in the grueling Kypros Rally.
In 2010, Mahindra & Mahindra invested heavily in the Ssangyong business and was chosen as the preferred bidder for Ssangyong. Ssangyong continue to manufacture Korando, Actyon, Rexton II, Kyron in South Korea, Russia and Ukraine.

Mitsubishi's automobile production arm was officially spun off into a company of its own with the establishment of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 1970. Mitsubishi Motors is part of a Japanese conglomerate, but the brand is best known for its lineup of cars like the Lancer compact sedan, Galant mid-size sedan, Outlander Sport and Endeavor crossovers.
In 2013, Mitsubishi Motors sold 987 thousands units in more than 160 countries.

Renault Samsung Motors
Renault Samsung Motors is a South Korean automobile manufacturer headquartered in Busan. It was first established as Samsung Motors in 1994 by the chaebol Samsung and started selling cars in 1998, just before South Korea was hit by the Asian financial crisis. Since September 2000, it has been a subsidiary of Renault, although Samsung maintains a minority ownership.
In 2012, Renault will invest (together with Nissan) US$160 million to make Nissan cars for export in order to improve the production output and also presented revised versions of the SM3 and the SM5. During 2013 it started to market a new compact crossover, the QM3. Today Renault Samsung Motors' model lineup includes QM5, SM3, SM5, and SM7.
